Jhonny Russell is an artist and musician based in Queensland, Australia. He has been creating images and sounds for over 20 years. His artwork has been used on CDs, records, cassettes, posters and t-shirts by bands from Australia, USA and the UK. Most notably providing art for Regurgitator’s ‘Dirty Pop Fantasy’ album, and producing/directing the animated video for their song ‘Sine Wave’.
Jhonny’s solo musical project, Mystery School, is a unique hybrid of electronic synths and beats with alternative post-punk guitars. The themes of his songs reflecting an interest in metaphysics, space, and all things occult and mystical.
